LCMS

Connecting people with Jesus Christ and each other through worship, learning and service.

Worship Schedule:

Saint Stephanus is a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.

During the school year (Labor Day through Memorial Day), we offer two Sunday services. A Traditional Service at 8:00 AM follows in the rich heritage of the Lutheran Church, using liturgical services passed down through the generations, and music from Lutheran Service Book hymnal. The music is led by our Casavant organ, and the Saints Alive Choir often assists in the musical leadership at this service. We also offer a more Contemporary Service at 10:30 AM, which features a mix of the familiar hymns as well as the inclusion of many more newly-written songs, led by our Worship Band. This service includes all the elements of a traditional Lutheran service with a more informal styling. Holy Communion is celebrated at both services on the first, third and fifth Sunday of the month.

Our Education Hour begins at 9:15 AM. During this time our Sunday School offers classes for children Preschool through 8th Grade. The Youth Group, consisting of high-school students, also meets during this time. One or more Adult Bible Study classes offer continued education for all ages.

Over the Summer Months, Memorial Day through Labor Day, we have one service each Sunday at 9:00 AM. This service may vary in format week-to-week. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first, third and fifth Sunday of the month. Adult Bible Study continues throughout the summer at 10:15 AM.

Other Services:

St. Stephanus also hosts an Eritrean Service at 12:00 Noon each Sunday.

During Advent and Lent, we offer midweek Wednesday evening services.
