Serving Frogtown & St. Paul

St. Stephanus partners with many different organizations to bless and be blessed by our Frogtown community. As firm believers that the 1st Article of our Creed as Christians is that God provides for us all, we believe we can acknowledge and support how God is using non-religious organizations to bring His blessing into the lives of people around us, as well as our direct action to share the Good News of life in Jesus with our neighbors.

Food Distribution // 3rd Thursday of the Month

One of the biggest hurdles our community faces today is food insecurity. We are grateful to be able to partner with Second Harvest Heartland to keep food distributions happening year round. We are currently doing distributions on the 4th Tuesday of the month.

  • When: 3rd Thursday of the Month, 4-6pm
  • What: Our items changes each month but typically you'll find
    • Shelf Stable Box (a mix of things like peanut butter, rice, beans, tuna, etc.)
    • Seasonal produce (apples, carrots, onions, potatoes, etc.)
    • Bonus items like chicken, milk, and bread
  • Where: 739 Lafond, St. Paul, MN 55104.
  • How: Drive-up! During the winter months we're switching to a drive-up method. Just pull up into line along Lafond Ave (please be mindful of our neighbors) and we'll come out to greet you and place your food in your vehicle for you.
  • Who: Open to everyone! No requirements.

Volunteering for Food Distribution

Each month we have two opportunities for you to help with distribution! The first is join us for our packing day to put together the Shelf Stable Boxes - watch our Facebook Page for that event infor.

The second way you can help is by helping at the food distribution. We need volunteers each month to help with packing, distributing, and intake! You can sign up for that here!

Want to bring a group to either? Let's chat! Email Megan Hoffman at youth@saintstephanus.org
